Why did you become a lawyer?

It sounds corny, I know, but I really wanted to help people achieve justice.

How long have you been with Adviceline?

Nearly 3 years.

What has been your most rewarding case?

A difficult obstetric negligence case for a catastrophically injured child.

What is your favourite memory about working with the ALIL team?

I am very much a team player and ALIL really are a great team that encourage and support each other.

Who is your hero/role model?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was an uncompromising warrior for justice and human rights.

Favourite sports team?

Geelong Cats – AFL or AFLW.

Last book read?

Bruny by Heather Rose – a great read in an Australian location.

Number one holiday destination?

If I ever go AWOL check the next plane to Florence…

Favourite cuisine?

Chinese, dumplings in particular. I have researched the topic of the best yum cha restaurants in Melbourne extensively!

What motivates you to work hard?

Improving my client’s lives to the greatest extent possible.

What advice would you give to an aspiring lawyer?

Be true to yourself and your clients. Never compromise your integrity. Your working life is long, so don’t be afraid to change direction.
