Why did you become a lawyer?

I became a lawyer because I wanted to be able to make a difference, however small, in the community.

How long have you been with Adviceline?

3.5 years.

What has been your most rewarding case?

We had a case where we assisted the family of a soldier who died while serving in the Defence Force and the main thing the family wanted was an apology which after a long fought battle we managed to obtain which gave the family the closure that they needed.

What is your favourite memory about working with the ALIL team?

Definitely the people!

Do you have any pets?

Sophie my Australian Silky Terrier.

Number one holiday destination?

Anywhere with sun and a beach.

What is something most people don't know about you?

I am on a mission to spot all the Australian native animals in the wild.

What motivates you to work hard?

Being able to really see the impact a successful outcome can have on a client’s life.

What advice would you give to an aspiring lawyer?

Studying law and practicing law are worlds apart so stick with it!
