Harmony Day: embracing cultural diversity

Harmony Day: embracing cultural diversity

This Harmony Day, 21 March 2016, we are reminded to appreciate Australia's cultural diversity. At our offices, we celebrate through our staff coming together to share and appreciate multicultural dishes.

Cultural diversity is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone living in Australia. The central message of Harmony Day that 'everyone belongs' reinforces the importance of inclusiveness - a sentiment seen under our Victorian WorkCover laws.

Whether a permanent Australian resident or a visa holder, all Victorian workers are entitled to the same protection and rights to compensation if they are injured in the workplace.

At Redlich's Work Injury Lawyers, we are committed to helping those who are injured at work or suffering from a work related illness. We recognise and embrace cultural diversity, and several of our personal injury lawyers speak another language other than English such as Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and Greek.

If you would like to speak to one of our bilingual lawyers, contact us on (03) 9321 9988.
