Liat Blacher is a Special Counsel at Adviceline Injury Lawyers, predominantly assisting people affected by work-related injuries or medical negligence.  She also has significant experience in traffic accident and public liability claims.

Demonstrating her passion for personal injury litigation, Liat has worked in this area exclusively for over 10 years.  She has a strong desire to help people get the most out of their claim for compensation during this vulnerable time.

In addition to Liat’s work-related injury practice, her medical negligence practice is varied and extensive.  She has been involved in cases dealing with birth trauma, delayed diagnoses, poor surgical outcomes, claims for families who have lost loved ones and coronial inquests.  Liat expertly balances the emotional challenges of this area of law with her deep understanding of medical and legal issues to provide her clients compassionate but considered advice.

Liat regularly runs cases in the Magistrates’ Court, County Court and Supreme Court.  She also has experience at the Victorian Court of Appeal.

Liat is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and has written numerous articles for the Law Institute Journal.
