Michael Lombard is a Partner at Adviceline Injury Lawyers, and is the partner in charge of our traffic accident division.  He is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Personal Injury Specialist and qualified mediator.

Michael has been recognised by Best Lawyers® as a leading practitioner in Personal Injury Litigation since 2014.  He is dedicated to helping vulnerable people overcome the challenges of the TAC and traffic accident injury compensation system to achieve the best outcomes in their cases.

Prior to joining Adviceline Injury Lawyers, Michael had established his own legal firm of Lombard and Associates.  He was the spokesperson for The Action Committee for Transport Injured Children (TACTIC), a group of parents of children suffering head trauma protesting against the Victorian Government’s intended privatisation of the Transport Accident Commission.  After a year of protest the Kennett Government backed down from its plan.

Michael is a member of the LIV – TAC Legal Liaison Committee and LIV – Litigation Lawyers TAC Committee.  He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Law Aid for 10 years, and was also previously a member and secretary of the Road Trauma Support Team, a non-profit group assisting people emotionally affected by road accidents.

Michael is the author of numerous books, articles and papers relating to Victorian motor and traffic law for the general public, health professionals and lawyers.  He is also a regular speaker on traffic accidents, hearing loss and personal injury law.
