Adviceline Injury Lawyers is a specialist personal injury law firm in Victoria, with particular expertise in work injury (including hearing loss), accidents on the road, public place slips and trips and claims of negligence (i.e. medical negligence and misconduct; sexual abuse).
For more than 50 years, we have been helping injured Victorians access the compensation they need to get their lives back on track. We take on all types of cases and represent all parts of the community, including people who find it difficult to afford a lawyer or speak a language other than English. Several of our lawyers speak many different languages including Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and Greek.
An excellent opportunity exists for a personal injury lawyer to join our Melbourne City office.
As a key member of the team, you will be proactive about playing a role in growing our practice and servicing local clients. Managing a variety of work with a focus on WorkCover and personal injuries, you will express a passion for these areas and seek to provide exceptional client service in all that you do.
Skills and experience
Ideally, you will be a driven and energetic lawyer with at least 3 years demonstrated expertise and experience in personal injuries litigation. You will have solid experience with WorkCover and possess excellent drafting skills, strong organisational skills and high level written and verbal communication.
You will be confident in working independently however demonstrate a collegiate attitude and be keen to work and share knowledge with your peers. You will have the opportunity, should you wish, to conduct your own advocacy.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced personal injury partner and contribute to the growth of the group. This role presents great file autonomy and the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting personal injury matters. The position is supported by an experienced legal assistant.
